| The QAGM16V25 16 volt chargers are designed for general purpose deep cycle, and starting batteries.
They are an electronically controlled two stage charger. The first stage brings the batteries to the
gassing threshold where an electronic timer starts. The batteries are then gassed for three hours.
At the end of three hours, batteries are dropped into a low float mode where the charge is
maintained in the batteries indefinitely. Finish current is below 1 amp.
The QAGM16V60A charger brings the battery up to the float voltage which triggers a three hour timmer. Then the battery is allowed to gas to a maximum of 2.4 volts per cell before dropping into a low volt mode of 2.26 volts per cell where the charge is maintained in the batteries indefinitely. The finish current is below 1 amp.
The QAGM1216V25 16 volt charger is designed for use with the TurboStart 16 Volt AGM Series sealed, maintenance free battery types (battery part# S16V, S16A) and the TurboStart 16 volt dry charged acid type batteries (battery part# 16V24, 16V324).
